MSC DG Notice - Carbon cargo and Vehicle cargo (关于碳类危险品和车辆类危险品的订舱说明)

Dear Customers, 尊敬的客户， As the mandatory implementation of IMDG Code Amendment 42-24 approaches January 1, 2026, we hereby provide the following explanations and reminders regarding two major categories of dangerous goods extensively affected by the amendments: 临近2026年1月1日《国际海运危险货物规则》第42-24版修正版强制实施， 现对改修正案变化所涉及的其中两大类影响较大的危险货物做如下说明和提示： Carbon- DG 碳类(危险品) UN1361 Class 4.2 (Carbon, animal or vegetable origin): With immediate effect, the exemptions under the original SP223 and SP925 are revoked. Consequencely UN1361 Class 4.2 must be declared as dangerous goods, accompanied by the following documents together with DGD: UN1361 Class 4.2，（碳, 来自于动物货植物），即日起取消原SPSP223 和SP925特殊规定的豁免。 即UN1361只接受以危险品出运。 并需要在DGD 阶段同时提供以下资料： A. Container Packing Certificate 装箱证明书 B. MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) MSDS C. Third-party Vanning Survey Certificate 第三方监装报告 D. Weathering Certificate 风化证书 E. Three items to be indicated in Item 9 of the DGD : 在DGD 的第九项显示此三项信息： 1. Date of production; 2. Date of Packing into packaging; 3. Temperature of the material on the day of packing into the packagings __ °C. 1, 货物生产日期， 2，货物包装日期，3，材料在包装那日的温度 UN1362 Class 4.2 (Carbon, activated): For dangerous goods shipments, the following documents are required together with DGD： UN1362 Class 4.2 （碳, 活性的），以危险品出运时， 需在DGD 阶段同时提供以下资料： A. Container Packing Certificate 装箱证明书 B. MSDS C. Third-party Vanning Survey Certificate 第三方监装报告 Vehicle-related DG 车辆类(危险品) For vehicles /equipment powered by lithium-ion batteries/lithium metal batteries/sodium-ion batteries, shipments loaded on board on or after January 1, 2026, must be declared and handled under UN3556/UN3557/UN3558 Class 9. Effective from 2026, UN3171 Class 9 will no longer be accepted for vehicles/equipment powered by lithium-ion batteries/lithium metal batteries/sodium-ion batteries; it will be exclusively used for vehicles/equipment powered by sodium metal batteries/sodium alloy batteries/wet batteries. 以锂离子电池/锂金属电池/钠离子电池驱动的车辆或设备， 自2026年1月1日后装船的，将强制启用UN3556/UN3557/UN3558 Class 9 进行申报和操作。UN3171 Class 9自2026年起将不再接受用于锂离子电池/锂金属电池/钠例子电池驱动的车辆或设备， 而仅用于钠金属电池/钠合金电池/湿电池驱动的车辆或设备。 Therefore, be reminded that when conducting operations and applications at current stage before Year 2026, please DO take note the following: 因此， 我司提醒：在现阶段操作和申请时务必注意： If continuing to book shipments under UN3171 Class 9, please confirm with your POD side for arrival declaration matters in advance. 若继续以UN3171 class 9 订舱的， 请提前与目的港确认清楚货物到港后的一切申报事宜。 If booking shipments under UN3556/UN3557/UN3558 Class 9, please ensure the UN Number indicated on the MSA declaration form and Container Packing certificate is also UN3556/3557/3558. Any discrepancies will result in refusal of loading. 若启用UN3556/UN3557/UN3558 Class 9 订舱的， 请确保海事申报单和装箱证明书上的UNNO 也为UN3556/3557/3558， 否则将拒绝装船。 Thanks for your attention and compliance.
