ESL-- Egypt Import – Mandatory Advance Customs Information (ACI) --SECOND REMINDER//JUNE02 2023

Dear Valued Customers,

With our service extension to Egypt, we would like to have your full support for the Advance Customs Information regulated by Egyptian Customs Law #207/2020. According to the recent public circular from Egypt customs authority, it reiterated the strict execution of regulation that shipments will remain on board without being discharged within the Egyptian territories if valid ACID number is not included on shipping documents.

1. Applicable to all imports to Egypt

2. Customers have to provide email copy from Nafeza with below ACI mandatory items for our validation before booking

3. ESL will verify the mandatory items on below link before booking https://www.nafeza.gov.eg/en/aci/validate

4. Customers have to give below mandatory items on Shipping Instruction for BL and Manifest.

ACID Number: e.g. 4988470982020120017

Egyptian Importer Tax Number: e.g. 498847098

Exporter Identification Number: e.g. CN-02-1208614364

5. BL and Manifest must be confirmed asap or at least 3 working days before arriving POD EGSOK (Sokhna, Egypt)

6. Customers have to take full responsibility on accurate data for ACI and Import Manifest

7. Extra costs of retain on board or any customs penalty will be on account of cargo owner
